Our Proclamation
  1. As Creator and Ruler of the universe, God deserves all of our love and obedience. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things (Revelation 4:11).
  2. Sadly, instead of loving and obeying God, each of us has turned to the wrong, sinful way. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way (Isaiah 53:6).
  3. Instead of leading us to a better life, our sinful choices lead to physical and spiritual death. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  4. But thankfully, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and endure the judgment that we deserve for our sins. But God commendeth [is showing] His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
  5. Jesus died for our sins, but He didn’t remain in the grave. On the third day after His crucifixion He arose from the dead. The Gospel, the “good news” is that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4).

If you have not yet received Jesus Christ as your Savior, but have a desire to know that your sins are forgiven and that you can receive the gift of eternal life, why not pray right now and tell the Lord you are trusting His Son, Jesus? You can do so in words like this:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. Thank you that Jesus died to pay for my sins. I believe He came to Earth, lived a perfect life, died for my sins, and was raised from the dead in order to conquer sin. I trust in Your promise that by believing in Jesus, I have forgiveness of sin and eternal life. I now trust Jesus alone for forgivness of my sins and the gift of eternal life. Please help me to live my life for You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
  1. The Bible promises you forgiveness of sin by believeing in Jesus Christ. It says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.(saved means delivered from the death penalty of your sin) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:9,13).
  2. The Bible says those who receive Jesus by believing in Him for forgiveness and eternal life become part of His family. (“He came unto His own and His own received Him not: but as many as received Him to them gave He the power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” (John 1: 11-12).
